Virtual to Virtual Machine Migration

 V2V VM MIGRATION

1.  The very first step would be to export appliance from Files section.


2. Import the virtual appliance that has been exported.


3. Appliance settings will be listed.


4. Appliance is being written.


5. Choose the appropriate settings and click on Finish.


6. Appliance is being Imported.


7. Virtual to Virtual Migration has been done successfully.

EC2 Instance accessible via remote client

1. Launch an EC2 instance 'Swetha Ec2 Remote Client'. 2. Create a key pair in .pem Format and launch the instance. 3. The instance is launched successfully. 4. In windows, open the putty key generator, and load the .pem file and save the private key in .ppk format. 5. Open WinSCP. Click on New Site. Copy the Public IPv4 address of the instance launched and paste it into the hostname in WinSCP. 6. Open advanced site settings, go to authentication, and upload the private key file. 7. Save the changes and click on Login.  EC2 instance accessible via a remote client in AWS is created.
